It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Into the twenties and news!

I'm not a teenager anymore it seems, reached 20 years of age and the only thing i'm hearing is that it's going downhill from now on haha. Aw well really can't be bothered with it, life feels great and thats what matters!

Here's some candy that i'll be throwing at you soon enough, based on an old classic's lyrics.



Apart from that i'm working at a design agency nowadays, here in Holland. Soon going into my last year to focus on my graduation paper, might go and travel after that. See Hong Kong, Japan, Australia/New Zealand, Africa, Rio when carnaval hits the place, god i can't wait haha. And probably some of the more obvious places as well such as London, Rome, Stockholm etc.

Got any places to recommend then tell me!

well like i said my mom is german my dad afghan. my dad came over when he was 19, and met my mom when they were studying medicine together. and yes i was born here and i consider myself german. ive only been there once.

Als ik mijn opleiding af maak, oftewel over een jaar zit het er dik in dat ik ga reizen. De wereld rond, de plaatsen die ik op noemde bezoeken, backpacken zeg maar.

Echt dik zin =), kost alleen behoorlijk wat...
