'The sky's a place beautiful, on without end.

Don't waste your life waiting for luck,

But form all your plumes into plumage for flight.

Sail into the future... awestruck.'

A piece of work i've had on my harddisk for quite a while, i thought it was time to touch it up a bit and share it with you people.
While creating this painting i've learned myself a lot of different techniques which, in the end, made this work worth its effort.
As most of you know i can never tell when i bring something out again, this one may come as a surprise as well but at least it's quite a pleasant one. Prints may be available soon.

Very beautiful and warm composition :) I like the structures on the right and the haze , that gives a good impression of the huge dimensions of the place ^^

I like this, there's some nice touches. The cloud structure is nice too, I just think they could do with a bit more variation. Compositionally, I think that the ships would be more effective shifted further up and left, into the image.

I didn't want to mess with the main focal point here, if i would've dragged the ships more towards the middle they would've been out of poportion ( sp? ) and making them smaller might have ruined their structure. That's why i placed them like this. Thanks for your comment and critics though, i'll take em with me.
